Combined Federal Campaign

The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the largest workplace giving campaign in the world.  Federal employees across the United States give more than $40 million to Community Health Charities and the charities we help fund. Here in New Mexico, federal employees pledge over $3 million every year! Community Health Charities of New Mexico manages the Central & Northern New Mexico CFC which is the largest campaign in New Mexico, encompassing 23 of New Mexico's 33 counties and generating over $1.7 million dollars of those pledges. www.cnnmcfc.org/

What to Know About the Combined Federal Campaign

  1. There are 4 Combined Federal Campaigns in New Mexico:  Central & Northern New Mexico CFC, San Juan County CFC, SouthEast New Mexico CFC, and Sun Country CFC.
  2. Every charity participating in the Combined Federal Campaign has received a unique designation code.
  3. The CFC code for Community Health Charities of New Mexico is 79829.
  4. Check your local CFC charity listing to review the list of participating charities. 5. For a listing of national codes for the 60+ national Community Health Charities member charities, click here.  For a link of New Mexico's local charities go to www.cnnmcfc.org/
  6. When you complete your pledge form, be sure to use the correct code for the charity you wish to support.

When making any contribution, Community Health Charities encourages you to pay careful attention to the percentage noted for each organizationís Administrative and Fundraising Ratio (AFR). In prior years, charities could not participate in the Combined Federal Campaign unless their AFR to revenue ratio was under 25% or they had a plan in place to achieve this number. Changes in regulations have removed this requirement, yet Community Health Charities has kept an AFR of 25% or lower as part of our membership expectations.
